Fade to Black

The Rainbow Scrap challenge is wrapping up with shades from gray to black.  I don't have a lot of black fabric or scraps, but I'm always up for a challenge!

I stitched up a few 9-patches with some black scraps that have been in the collection since way back when.  I know there are more black scraps around here, but I'll have to do some digging.

In the meantime, be sure to check out what the other Rainbow Scrappers are up to over at Soscrappy's blog.  Hope you have a great stitching Saturday!

  6. Your 9-patches are really fun! Love the peppers!!! I was surprised at how much black I had accumulated in my crumbs container. I haven't begun sewing them up yet because I wanted to work on my border for the Rainbow Pineapples, and black is the background, so it worked out perfectly ;*)

  7. Digging out all the old extras is the best part of the rainbow challenge. Tackling the chaos, o e color at a time.
